Garnier Nutrisse


Nutrisse Creme is permanent hair dye from Garnier. This product has got mixed reviews. Some like the end result others complain about the strong chemical smell. It is widely reported that first few days after use it gives chemical odour. You need to use it in well-ventilated area because of strong odour. Although newer versions of the product are said to be not that bad smelling.

It is relatively cheaper than other comparable brands. But it comes with less amount of color conditioner in the pack although reviews indicate conditioner to be of good quality. It is noticed that color on the box is shown much lighter than what comes out although this depends upon your natural shade.

It is a medium cool. It has ash tones. It reduces red or orange tones. If you have cool or olive tones skin then you can pull this off. Keep away from this shade if you are warm toned. Be careful if you have hair lighter than dark blonde as it can result in a greenish tone. Also this is not recommended if you previously dyed your hair darker than medium brown.

This is an intense red shade with intense red tones. This can result coppery if used over hair with golden tones, purple if used over hair with blue, or ash tones. This will suit fair and dark skinned person. Olive toned people should avoid it. Using it over lighter hair will give brighter, more intense results. While black hair will produce darker, rich results. Use of deep conditioner recommended as red hair fades the fastest.

Avoid applying on previously colored hair, unless it was previously colored with the same shade. It is best to use on lighter than medium brown hair.

It is a red shade from Garnier. As name implies it is a true red color meaning it has only red tones and no copper or burgundy tones mixed in this shade. Fair skinned people will look good using this dye. On the other hand warm toned people should avoid it. If you have neutral tone you should be OK. Red shade fades fast hence it is recommended to use a good deep conditioner to maintain the color for longer.
